Dota 2 Roster Shuffle: All Major Roster Moves November (1-15)
The post-TI roster shuffle is over, and from now on, we’ll check the Dota 2 Roster Shuffle every two weeks. Just like in its previous iterations, this series covers the major roster moves that take place within each interval.
On top of that, we’ll break down how these changes affect teams, tournaments, and their rivals in the same competitive bracket. Some moves happen right before or right after big events, and we’ll adapt the discussion to bring you the most value in every edition.
Dota 2 Roster Shuffle: Last Half of October
Since we skipped the last half of October, a quick recap is in order. First, OG disbanded both their South American and Western European rosters. The dismissals happened on October 21 and October 29 respectively.
Meanwhile, Team Yandex replaced TA2000 and prblms (benched) with watson and Malady, both joining from Gaimin Gladiators. The impact was immediate, as Team Yandex made an impressive run at FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, finishing 3rd.

Faith_bian left the offlane, and the team brought in Yao and Echo while Niu transitioned from coach to offlaner. The results will take some time to show, but so far they lost to BetBoom Team and defeated Yakult Brothers in the PGL Wallachia Season 6 Group Stage.

Yakult Brothers: More Chinese Than Ever
The first November shuffle was a small but meaningful substitution at position 5 for Yakult Brothers. Wilson "poloson" Koh left the team, and Jiang “天命” An (tiān mìng) now fills the hard-support role.

One day later, OG announced their new roster and confirmed a full transition to Southeast Asia. OG signed Team Aureus, completing their region hop. Aureus already held two slots for major events, which brings OG back onto the main stage at the ongoing PGL Wallachia Season 6 and the upcoming BLAST Slam V starting on November 25.
AVULUS: They're OUTvulus (For Now)
After a pretty rough time through the many qualifiers in October and placing 8th on the FISSURE Universe Episode 7, AVULUS decided it was best to disband and try again with a new roster in the near future. We wish them the best of luck and will feature their new roster on our next article.
AVULUS used to fight for slots against MOUZ, but recent events show MOUZ evolving quickly toward Tier 1. This shift placed them as direct rivals to Heroic and left AVULUS with an urgent need to deliver results and catch up.
GamerLegion: Here They Come Again
After being dismissed by Wildcard Gaming and spending time under the Apex Genesis banner, North America’s ever-present underdogs return once again. This time, they compete as GamerLegion and will debut at the PGL Wallachia Season 6.
Just like Team Tidebound, we’ll need to wait until PGL Wallachia ends to fully evaluate their performance. So far, they lost to Team Liquid and defeated Nigma Galaxy during the Group Stage.
Closing Thoughts
This first half of November brought several interesting roster moves, but OG definitely stole the spotlight. Their signing of Aureus was a smart decision that shows they have a broad understanding of the current Dota 2 landscape despite their recent struggles in Western Europe.
PGL Wallachia is also serving as a trial by fire for several big rosters, especially Team Tidebound and GamerLegion, who will push hard to navigate the challenging Group Stage in the days ahead.
