FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2: Group Stage Results

Let’s start by looking at the eight teams that successfully made it through the modified Swiss Stage.

At the top of the standings, Team Falcons and Team Spirit emerged as the first squads to secure their Playoff spots with perfect 3-0 records. Falcons achieved this after taking down MOUZ, Team Liquid, and BetBoom Team in convincing fashion.

Meanwhile, Team Spirit maintained their composure despite ongoing roster concerns, defeating Team Yandex, Heroic, and Aurora Gaming. Even though Spirit’s opponents weren’t among the toughest in the field, these wins help the team stay stable amid uncertainty caused by Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov’s absence.

Following them, the second wave of qualified teams — Tundra Esports, BetBoom Team, and Team Yandex — also made it through with 3-1 records. Among them, Team Yandex’s performance was perhaps the most surprising. They beat Heroic and Aurora Gaming by 2-0 and 2-1, respectively, proving that their new roster has real potential to compete with stronger squads.

In the final qualification round, several upsets shaped the standings. Team Liquid, after a shaky run in recent events, found their rhythm when it mattered most. Their victory over PARIVISION — a team that kept most of its Top 3 TI roster — was particularly notable, as Liquid showed an improved level of coordination.

MOUZ also continued their strong trajectory, taking down Aurora Gaming once again. The German organization has been on an upward trend including a second-place finish at FISSURE Universe Episode 7. Beating Aurora on the second consecutive tournament reinforces MOUZ’s position as a consistent team that is slowly evolving.

Finally, Heroic managed to claim the last Playoff spot after a tight series against Vici Gaming. Both teams drew plenty of attention during the post-TI roster shuffle, but only Heroic — representing South America — managed to stay alive in the competition.

FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2: Playoffs Schedule

With the Group Stage wrapped up, the Playoffs are set to begin with a new set of high-stakes matchups. Eight teams remain, and each will now fight for their share of the prize pool and valuable circuit points. The action begins on October 28th, and here’s the schedule (in GMT):

Another exciting clash features Team Spirit going up against Heroic — a battle between one of the tournament’s early qualifiers and a team that barely survived the Group Stage.
